How to Make Billions.
You want to trade derivatives. Find a firm that does OTC(over the counter, as opposed to the stock exchange)derivative trades. If you trade the derivatives you want to short the derivatives on the subprime mortgage bonds(since we know they will go down). You want to keep your shorts on the bonds for as long as you can. Secondly, you want to invest in CDS, or credit-default swaps. CDS prices increase dramatically the more likely a company goes bankrupt. If the company actually does go bankrupt, the contract goes to zero. Thus, you can ride the risk that some of these companies may go bankrupt and you can short the companies that you think will go bankrupt and make a fortune. If you had a million dollars, and reinvested your profits, you could easily make 500m in the next two years.
Too bad I can’t find any firms that need recent college grads to help them make billions.
